Stratford Upon Avon

Stratford Upon Avon was our trip this past week and it was so so fun! We went to Mary Arden's Farm and got to do all the typical farm chores like splitting wood, churning butter and tending to the animals. The bird trainer gave us a show too with Angus the owl. I even put on the black glove and held a piece of raw meat and that owl flew up and perched itself on my arm!Can you believe it  I held that owl and didn't even get scared! Well I couldn't. It was so neat. Then we went to Ann Hathaway's cottage. It was s darling, with it's thatched roof and garden full of new blooming flowers. Then we went to Shakespeares birthplace and that evening went to a show. We saw The Tempest.  It was an  South African i therenfluenced adaption of the play! It was incredible. I totally loved how they used elements of  that culture and how surprisingly well it fit. It was similar to the elements of The Lion King stage production in the music and costumes and ect. combined with Shakespeare's brilliant writing. It was likeGilligans Island landed in South Africa and throw in some ghosts, spirits and romance and you have our show. And Ferdinand lets just say he was well extremely attractive. I'd take him to the temple. The next day we went to Blenhiem Palace. It was the must beautiful palace that we have visited so far. They just wrapped shooting on The Young Victoria there. It was so pretty. I was kicking myself the whole trip for forgetting my battery in my camera. It was really cool. We went on the tour of the palace and then went to he Butterfly House. It was a greenhouse where tons and tons of butterflies were flying around and we could just stand there in the greenhouse and watch the pretty butterflies. Then we did the giant Blenhiem Maze! It was so fun good thing we all stuck together because we almost never got out! This was such a neat trip! Once again I couldn't happier or feel more blessed with everything I get to see.

This is pretty typical of me on the coach rides hahah photo thanks to Patrice hahah
