OH the chimney's of London

Just across the street

We take the underground everywhere and I'm getting a little better at navigating it! One of my favourite memories was walking up the steps at Westminster Station and looking up at Big Ben. It was unbelievable! I've seen pictures my entire life of this historic landmark but there is nothing like seeing it in person. It was so amazing I was just waiting for Peter Pan to fly on by.

Big Ben last night when I came up the steps from the station!!

Other things I've loved are Trafalgar's Square, that's where the National Gallery and Nelson's Column are. Covent Garden was beautiful and so much fun to wander, and by the way they have, according to the sign, "award winning loo's"that must be one nice toilet. I LOVE Regent Street and Picadilly Circus. Those are both major shopping areas and just busy and fun in general, like London's own Times Square! It's full of cute little shops, restaurants , theaters and big stores! And I really enjoy most of the West End. Tonight while we were exploring the West End we ended up near SoHo and found this truly fabulous pastry shop called Patisserie Vallerie. It was the best. I got chocolate mille feuille. It was layers of chocolate cake, vanilla custard and fruit with chantilly cream and all topped with belgian chocolate! It was sinfully delicious...

Trafalgar's Square veiw towards the south...

Nelson's Column

Regent Street!

Tomorrow is Sunday and a few of us girls are planning on bundling up after church and taking a walk through Hyde Park and having hot coca and just chatting together. I'll try to get more pictures up asap and I promise to post more of our house and more with me and some of my friends in this phenomenal city. check back soon...

Ello Loves!
So I'm finally here! In Lovely Old London Towne and I love it more than I could have dreamed. And what an adventure getting here!! My first flight from LAX left a midnight and flew all night to JFK. First the people at the gate were HORRID and then I got to sit next to an Egyptian lady who was shouting up to her husband ( in her native language ) who was 3 rows in front of her!! HAHA I was less that comfortable to say the least. Then I had all day (9 HOURS!!) in the JFK airport. I read every single tabloid there is-
FYI Jennifer Anistion isn't really still mad at Angie and
her and John Mayer love  each other but have a hard time committing, Britney Spears can't wait to get back on tour and the tab's are accusing her now of forgetting about her kids, Pete Wentz loves his sons
name Bronx and now wants a little girl to name Brooklyn, and Poor John Travolta's tragic loss was all over every issue.-

Then it was time for my flight and  the real magic started I waited in the general boarding line and when i got up there I said hello and smiled at the wonderful man and he  looked at my boarding pass and said there was a problem and then took my boarding pass and came back and told me I must be someone special with British Airways because I'd been upgraded to first class! It was Terrific and so Fabulous. I watched Mama Mia in the big comfy chair in the new cozy socks and jammies that they brought me then it was a 3 course Dinner YUMMY! and before they turned my seat into a bed I had some chocolate chip cookies and then slept. When I woke up I had another warm towel and I ordered fresh squeezed oj and pastries haha they also brought a "freshen up kit". The stewardess was SO nice and lovely at one point she said "Is there any this I can do for you miss, in true London style we want you to have the Royal Treatment" I felt so lucky to be there and what a way to travel to somewhere as amazing as London!
I'll post some new pictures of my adventues as they come!! It's been so amazing so far I just cant believe I'm acctually here in London looking out the window of flat at the view of Hyde Park. Well I'm off today to the Tate Modern and tonight Dinner at the Rusty Dog Pub and Ice Skating at the Tower of London! Have fabulous day everyone I love you all so much! xoxoxo lyss

THIS IS MY LIFE LATELY....

Merry Christmas...

it was a very very merry christmas. my wonderful family got up at 5 am to open presents because i had to work at 8:15 which wasn't too bad at all, it was fun! A few Christmas Day highlights- SUCH CUTE PRESENTS!! Jonas Brothers on the Christmas Day Parade, Yummy Treats and fun family! But Christmas Eve was my favorite part of the season. We had all our traditions; Reading Luke 2 and the 'Twas the Night Before Christmas", new jammies fondue dinner and my favorite- LOVE GIFTS this year my sister and I both had each other and NEITHER of us chose a Jonas related gift haha!  She gave me licorice and jewelry to represent our licorice jewelry company and catalog we made when I was 11 and she was 6 and i gave her a Belle ornament and magic mirror to represent a special memory of us sitting together watching Fantasmic when we were little and talking about how much like our favorite princesses ( Belle and Ariel) we are! She's my Belle- the bookish beauty. What a happy Christmas! I'm sad its over I love this season....

It's Beginning to Smell a lot like Christmas....

Gingerbread cookies, apple and pumkin pie, red velvet treats
and chocolate covered oreo's pretzels or peanut butter balls, yummy popcorn and candied nuts. It must be the holidays because our home is filled with so many delicious smells of fresh homebaked treats. You walk in immediately the smells of coca, vanilla bean, and peppermint welcome the holidays. No wonder Christmas is my favorite holiday. I have so many fun memories of baking with my family and what better was to feel the Christmas Spirit than to bake together.

My Best Friends Wedding

My Best Friends Wedding <3 It was better than a fairy tale. Brittany Olsen Looked radiant and she and her new husband left the San Diego Temple having just been sealed for time and all eternity. We took lots and lots of pictures and the Brittany's smile was bigger than I've ever seen then we headed to a family dinner at the Farrow home the next day was the stunning reception. It was the perfect wedding from start to finish. I couldn't be happier that my best friend found her prince charming and has her happily ever after...

Mary-Kate and Ashley

So fall semester of 08 was amazing  and  to end it on a high note my lovely friend Kelsi and I wanted to throw a party. When we realized our mutal Olsen Twins obsession and how we are both Mary-Kate and Ashley Fan Club Alumni we decided to throw a "Mary-Kate and Ashley" themed party! It's was a twintastic super duper fun party where all our friends plus a few came dressed like twins we had pizza and watched the You're invited to Mary-Kate and Ashley's music videos and To Grandmothers House We go. Everyone thought it was such a fun theme and people got totally nostalgic but Kels and I had more fun than anyone. Here are a few pics form the party
